Many countries - especially in countries of the Third World – still have a poor infrastructure. In Africa, Brazil or Siberia, for example, many villages can only be reached via airplane or a powered glider.
These villages often do not have cars at all.
It would therefore be practical if the airplane functioned as a car as well.
